The Chronicles of Narnia
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
I've seen the movie, twice actually, and I can quite say I enjoyed it. I have not read the book however. The sense of adventure is is easily imagined. The setting was put together wonderfully. I don’t have any criticisms of it at all. The actors did really well. I thought the talking animals would take away from it, instilling it as to just be good as a kids' movie, but they were actually portrayed pretty well, and for me, the serious attitude was kept where it was needed. The film took the audience into a fantasy world that I'm sure almost everyone would love to experience themselves.
When I'm watching a movie, I usually start to wonder half way through, what time is it? But no such thing here. I was so engaged into the movie, wondering what was going to happen next, that I didn't even stop or pause for one second to wonder of the time. I think it's a good movie for kids and adults alike; though moreso for the children. I found it to be a great film, and I would encourage others to go out and see it as well.
